Rake's Progress

Who we are

Rake's Progress is an Antwerp based project with classical guitar, double bass, steel string and voice. 
The band consists of Stefano Petucco (Italy), Joe Borthwick (USA) and Pieter Rutten (Belgium).
The repertoire contains songs that Joe and Pieter wrote for previous bands, brought back to life - not in the least by the Mediterranean input of Guitar Virtuoso Stefano - combined with some covers. 
You'll hear our music amongst that of Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen and others.

"The Rake's progress story concerns the decline and fall of one Tom Rakewell, who deserts Anne Trulove for the delights of London in the company of Nick Shadow, who turns out to be the Devil."
